Privacy Policy
Last updated October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how West Texas Industrial Engines, Inc. (“WTIE,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit www.wtie.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
The Site does not have its own contact form or customer accounts. If you call or email us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, company, phone number, email address, equipment details, serial numbers and part numbers.
If you apply for a job, the application form on our Jobs page is provided by a third-party form service (EmailMeForm). The information you enter, such as your contact details, work history and qualifications, is submitted through that service and delivered to us. EmailMeForm’s own privacy policy also applies to that submission.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web host automatically records standard server log information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time of the request. We use this only to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site. The Site does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
Third-party content
Our Contact page shows an embedded Google Map, and our Jobs page loads the EmailMeForm application form. When those load, Google and EmailMeForm may receive information about your visit (such as your IP address) and may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
How we use information
- To respond to your calls, emails and quote requests
- To provide parts, engines and services you ask for
- To review job applications
- To operate, maintain and protect the Site
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business (such as our web host, email provider and form provider), when required by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable measures to protect it, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have sent us by contacting us using the details below. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
